Millions of gamers grew up with the Nintendo DS. While I grew up with the GBA, I no doubt understand the significant nostalgia an entire generation feels for the DS.

Afterall, the DS was around for a long time. Many of those young gamers are now in their late teens or early 20s. The perfect age to buy the things they are nostalgic for.

Maybe it is just my YouTube recommendations, but it feels like there are tons of videos and comments showing up with people sharing their memories of the handheld.

Thankfully, there were so many DS consoles sold, there are plenty available for around $50 if you want to pick one up.

Additionally, the console could not be easier to play backups on, which may be necessary to manage the cost of some of those expensive titles - like all of the Pokemon games.
