In Dantewada of Chhattisgarh, encounter was held between the security forces and Maoists on Thursday morning. In this encounter at Bijapur and Dantewada district the security forces killed 7 Naxalites. In the joint action of the police and CRPF, seven Naxalites, including three women Naxalites, were killed. This incident of encounter took place in the Gangalur police station behind the hills of Tinnenar in Dantewada. In the joint operation of Dantewada STF and CRPF, these Naxalites have been killed at 6 in the morning. ASP Naxal Operation G of Dantewada N. Baghel has confirmed this.
According to the information received, 7 Naxalites killed include three women and 4 men. INSAS rifle, two three knot three rifle, one 12 bore rifle and some other weapons have been recovered from the dead Maoists.

Security forces were informed about a dozen Naxalites in this area. After that the teams of STF and CRPF reached the spot and the siege of the entire area. Before the security forces started firing, the Maoists started firing. However, already in the encounter, the injured jawans killed 7 Naxalites including 3 women naxalites.
