Trains in the 1980s - Derby & Loughborough - April 1988

The majority of this video was filmed during the afternoon of Monday 25th April 1988 at Derby station, over a period of just under 2 hours.

It shows what a variety of motive power could still be seen in a relatively short timescale, and features Class 20s, Class 31, Class 37, Class 47, Class 58 and even a Class 08 shunting coaching stock.

A shorter trip to Loughborough later on the same day, for just under 1 hour, includes 2 loco hauled movements, but one is double-headed - a Class 45 and Class 31 pairing!
