Bangladesh News update that has come in which states that Bangladesh cricketer Nasir Hossain might be in some trouble. Hossain had married Tamima Sultana, who was earlier married to Mohammad Rakib Hasan. And now, Hasan has filed an adultery case against Hossain.
In fact, a hearing was also conducted regarding the matter and now Hasan’s complaint has been recorded in the court. The Police Bureau of Investigation (PBI) was also directed by the court to submit a report regarding the matter by 30th March 2021.
Sultana threw light on the matter and stated that she was married to Rakib Hasan and even had a child with him. But then, she alleged that everything else that Rakib has said are completely false.
“I was married to Rakib and yes, we have a child together. Everything else that Rakib has said are lies,” said Sultana as quoted by the Dhaka Tribune.
Rakib is spreading false information about Nasir Hossain: Tamima
Tamima further opened up and said that Rakib Hasan was spreading false information about her and Hossain, and added that everyone knew that she was going to marry Hossain. She stated that she really did not know what happened to her ex-husband after her engagement with the cricketer.
“But Rakib is now spreading false information. Everyone knew that Nasir and I were getting married. I don’t know what happened to Rakib after I got engaged with Nasir,” concluded Tamima.
Hossain also opened up on the issue and stated that Tamima is his wife and he would undertake legal action against anybody who speaks ill about her.
“She (Tamima) is my wife now. I will take legal action against Rakib or anyone who speaks ill about my wife,” said Hossain.
Hossain played 19 Tests and 65 ODI’s for Bangladesh. While he scored 1044 runs in the whites, he scored 1281 runs in the ODI format. Hossain also picked up 24 wickets in ODI cricket with his off spin.
Hossain also represented his country during the 2015 World Cup that was held in Australia and New Zealand. The 29-year-old played 3 matches in the 2015 World Cup, and scalped 4 wickets as well. And now, it remains to be seen if any further action will be taken against Nasir Hossain regarding his marriage with Sultana.
