Rigid Pavement || Layers of Rigid Pavement

This video shows the layers of rigid pavement. There are different types of pavement but rigid and flexible are two important types of pavement. Rigid pavement behaviour is different from that of flexible pavement because the surface layer is of concrete rather than asphalt. There are different layers of rigid pavement and each layer has its own purpose. These layers are;
Concrete slab
Base layer
Subbase layer
Subgrade layer.
