How to Replace the Element in a Dualit Toaster

So, our Dualit (Vario 2 Slice) toaster that we've had for 13 years recently stopped toasting both sides of the bread. A new Dualit toaster would cost over £100, so I wondered if I could replace the faulty element.

These toasters are hand made https://goo.gl/WAehcP and each element can easily be swapped out and replaced - so here's my video showing you how to do it.

In my toaster, the centre element had broken - which we knew because the toast wasn't toasting on the side facing the centre element - but don't worry, if one of the End Elements has gone on your toaster, this video will show you everything you need to know.

Pozi drive (PZ2) screwdriver/ electric screwdriver
6.5mm spanner - available from Dualit. Give them a call and they may even send it out to you for free. You'll struggle to find one of these in your local DIY store.
