Illustrated Reading Journal | Episode 2, Part 1

Back with a reading journal update...finally! I know, I know. In the words of Dr. Dog - where'd all the time go?

This update is the first of two parts, since I sort of let the number of books to catch up on get out of hand. I will be drawing and reviewing the likes of 5 books in each!

In this first video I review Dust, The Princess Diarist, Imogen Obviously, Laura Dean Keeps Breaking Up With Me, and The Mother Next Door.

The illustrations are kept fairly simple, as this reading journal is meant to be an exercise and not a book of finished artworks. Typically I do these in black and white but I was feeling (stupidly) ambitious and made the executive decision to do some in full-color. I won't make that mistake again o.o
