Microscopic organism or Sentient Avocado?

I haven't the slightest clue what this is. It's almost like a shell-less snail. It was found in a freshwater river. There are 2 notable structures inside this organism. The first is a large green blob. The second is a dark circular structure. These combined are reminiscent of an avocado that has been cut vertically in half. Could this be where avocados come from? If 2 of these organisms meet do they combine to form a full avocado? Perhaps. More research is needed.
