Rapier GX Load Break Switch Product Installation and Operation

This clip will guide you through the installation and operation (OPEN/CLOSE) of the Rapier GX load break switch. Similar to other Lucy Electric products, the Rapier GX has a simple and straightforward installation and operation steps.
For the product installation:
1. Check the construction site whether HV pole, HV cable and ground rod are installed properly
2. Ensure that the Rapier GX load break switch is ready for installation. Check if electrical cables, bushing and SF56 gas are ready. The status of SF6 gas should be in GREEN. Move the handle to OPEN
3. Prepare electrical connectors for Rapier GX load break switch as followed:
- 185mm lug
- Nuts, washer, spring ring and splicing tape
- Clod sink
- Electrical pole truss
4. Use electric repair hot line car to install Rapier GX load break switch on electrical pole by experienced engineers
5. Connect HV ground to HV ground rod
6. Connect LV ground to LV ground rod

After the load break switch installation is completed, we can start to operate the Rapier GX load break switch by following these steps:
1. Check the SF6 gas presence at gas pressure gauge. If the pointer is in the green zone, it indicates that SF6 gas pressure is normal.
2. Pull Interlock Lock Free to Free position
3. Use the hook to pull the handle to ON. When it is ready to energize, pull handle to CLOSE
