She went on to star in numerous successful films, including Noorie, Red Rose, Sohni Mahiwal, Teri Kasam, Dard, Karma, Naam, and Shiv Shakti. In the 1990s, she transitioned to supporting roles and also ventured into television, appearing in series like Andaz, Kittie Party, and Bigg Boss. Poonam Dhillon has also been actively involved in politics, joining the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and holding various positions within the party.
