The WSO2 API Manager lets users prototype APIs without having to spend time and effort on fully constructing the software behind an API. Publishers can write inline scripts for testing and early promotions for subscribers to try out, test and provide feedback on APIs in order to improve and make changes requested by users.

However, this means that publishers need to face the inconvenience of having to spend time on writing code for inline scripts from scratch. WSO2 API Manager 3.1 is equipped with Mock Response Payload Generation which allows users to automatically generate Javascript code with response payloads included. This provides users the convenience and flexibility to either modify the generated inline script or deploy the prototype API directly.
