IKEA bed makeover twice. Room Makeover if you consider my son cleaned his room after we completed the IKEA bed makeover and added the IKEA Hack to the bed to make it work after our Home Depot Haul for supplies to make this DIY bed fix. I purchased a new mattress for my son which was much needed. I bought a FULL size mattress when my son had a Twin bed so it didn't fit. So of course I had to buy new bed frame to fit.

It is wonderful how size really does matter. Then we had to make a trip to Home Depot and buy the DIY product and tools that would eventually hopefully make the already assembled bed frame fit the already inflated mattress.

The bed frame didn't fit the NEW Full Mattress EVEN when it said a FULL BED FRAME. (What I learned - IKEA has their own version of FULL size) so of course we didn't do the logical and practical thing and send back the mattress or bed frame, I mean that would've been way too easy. Nope, we had to DIY the bed frame to MAKE IT WORK.

This was complete and total chaos which translates to me mostly laughing at the epic disaster with my husband running around to fix it. He swore he could fix. (Whatever he just wanted an excuse to buy new man tools)

This was really funny and probably cost more to DIY and fix than it would have if we had just bought a different mattress, but it made for really funny vlogging.
