Crossfire Roadster Manual Convertible Top Operation

***PLEASE READ ALL OF THIS TEXT***

Here I try to explain and DEMONSTRATE how to put the top up (and down) manually. Watch it several times, as, for example, I forgot to put the divider up at one point (not a BIG deal, but still....)

As promised in the video, here are the tools you need:

Chrysler Multipurpose tool: 5140795AA (around $170, you can also order it from Mercedes as an MB A 1988990380 for somewhat less money). This is a thin 10mm wrench, around 8 inches long, that is bent at one end. Search eBay for these part numbers and the description, I've seen them sell for $40 on eBay.

A 6mm hex key wrench (you can just buy a metric kit with several sizes of hexheys and keep this one in the car).

If you just bought your car, look for the multipurpose tool in the bag hanging between the seats, in the trunk under the mat (look around in all the cavities back there) and in the glove box. One guy I know found that his had been thrown up on the dash and it was sitting on the passenger side between the windshield and dash - he found it one day while changing wiper blades, after owning the car for a year.
