Well, just like with the Tarbo, I couldn't resist taming a TEK Tyrannosaurus and a Legacy Tyrannosaurus. These beauties are part of the Paleo ARK Evolution Apex Predators mod. This replaces the vanilla rex and Giga with these new Evo variants. Basically it acts like a much needed TLC.

Now, there's nothing different mechanically (pun intended) about the TEK Tyrannosaurus and Legacy. They're both exactly like the Tarbo in terms of attacks and general stats, though they are a little larger, and may have more base HP (I need to read the mod page and test it).

So, why tame them? Simple - because T-Rex is cool. Also, the dev team for this mod absolutely cooked on the Tek Rex's sounds. It reminds me of the AT-ST from Star Wars meets a T-Rex.

The Legacy Tyrannosaurus is a nod in its design to the vanilla rex, sporting the more prominent osteoderms on its back, and horned crests above its eyes. Again, there's nothing mechanically different between them and the other variants of the Evo Rex, but damn do they look awesome!
