SIR KEITH PARK'S LAST MONTHS ON THE SEVERN VALLEY RAILWAY

2018 was a sad New Year's weekend at the Severn Valley Railway. Firstly Erlstoke Manor was retired for a major overhaul, see:    • ERLESTOKE MANOR - THE FINAL YEAR   then two days later 34053 Sir Keith Park ran its last trains before returning to Swanage. The rebuilt Battle of Britain Class locomotive had provided some memorable scenes at the SVR, not least when crossing 34042 Taw Valley out on the line.
This video shows Sir Keith running between Kidderminster and Bridgnorth during its final few months in the Midlands.
