Many consumers believe there will be a similar housing crash in the coming months or year just like in 2007.

The majority of the real estate and mortgage professionals believe this is not going to be the case as the situation is significantly different.

Yes, there are home prices are going up, and some drastically, but that is simply because there is such a shortage of houses available.

According to the National Association of Realtors, there is a shortage of about 6.8 Million homes needed for current buyers.

Also, there are over 70 Million millennials that are now in the prime age to buy a house... that is only making the supply issue stronger.

The more someone wants to buy a house, the more they are willing to go over asking price, especially when the have the cash to do so.

We presume the market will cool off a little over the coming months, but due to the lack of inventory, we don't feel a crash is coming.
