True Dual Exhaust.The Pypes Mid-Muffler True Dual exhaust system is the ideal way to convert your 2005-2010 V6 Mustang into a true dual exhaust Mustang. The kit comes with the X-Pipe, Cat-Back, and Mufflers you’ll need to make this conversion. The end result is an overall increase in horsepower, and the ability to have your V6 Mustang sound like an angry V8. This sound is the direct result of the two Pypes M-80 style bullet mufflers mounted directly after the mid-pipe.
Quality Materials, Economical Usage. The X-Pipe and Cat-Back are both crafted from 409 stainless steel tubing, mechanically bent by mandrel and free flowing. 2.5” in diameter, the tubing features the two M-80 style bullet mufflers previously mentioned, the cause of that classic, throaty rumble of a cat-back exhaust. To complete the classic muscle car aesthetic, the whole system is finished with a set of high polish, 4” 304 steel tips.
Professional Installation Recommended.This installation requires prior mechanical expertise or the work of a professional to be completed without any issues. This is due, in large part, to the large number of tubes and pipes that need to be cut to fit the new exhaust system. The installation process takes about 3 hours from beginning to end. In an effort to save you money, this system uses the catalytic converters that come stock with your Ford Mustang.
