This method is provided by official riot game support and it's the only method worked for me.

First open start then control panel then click system and security and open Windows defender Firewall.


On top left click allow an app or feature through windows defender firewall

Then click change settings


Here click allow another app and click browse and navigate to the folder where u installed Valorant.

in my case it is

F: \ Riot Games \ VALORANT \ live \ VALORANT.exe

This is already added to the exception list

F: \ Riot Games \ Riot Client \ Riot Client Services.exe
So this is also included maybe as well as for you too in the firewall

Out of everything which fixed my ping problem was this

C: \ Program Files \ Riot Vanguard \ vgc.exe

In my case I already included this in the exception list and after u did everything mentioned here your ping spike problem will be resolved but if you still face ping issue Submit your logs to the riot support they will help you with ease.
