I AM FILIPINO JOE YOUR BROTHER

In May of 2016 my wife came to America and we got married. Not long after she arrived in America she introduced me to the Philippines bloggers like Kulaus and others and right from the very first moment I began watching them I dreamt about one day coming here and traveling around and doing that very thing. Experiencing the Filipino Lifestyle and culture and interacting with its amazing people. 8 years later and the dream is a reality. My wife and I sold everything in America and made our journey to the Philippines. It was also important to me to bring my wife home, where she could be closer to family and her roots. Where our children could experience Filipino culture. It's a long story but during the time my wife was in America I got diagnosed with cancer and I spent 2 years on my deathbed. By the grace of God I recovered but the whole experience made me think very carefully about how life would be if I would not have made it. It became clear that it would be best for my wife and children if we lived in the Philippines where my wife is comfortable living and operating on a daily basis just in case something ever happened to me. This is her home and I am so happy that she is back.

With all that said guys I am happy to announce that we’re here to stay and we’re excited to share our journey. I’m excited to learn all I can about this country and we’re not looking back. I’m no longer American Joe, I’m now FIlipino Joe and I’m your brother!!!
