This is a Full Body Strength x weighted pilates workout with a pilates bar kit or dumbbells and ankle weights/bodyweight. This routine includes:
*Standing arm and leg work-using the pilates bar similar to a barbell for strength exercises or a set of dumbbells

*Lying lower body work- for feet in straps exercises (mimics a reformer machine in a Pilates studio), with pilates bar or ankle weights/bodyweight (no equipment)
* Kneeling lower body/core and glute work- using pilates bar or ankle weights (or bodyweight/no equipment)

Strength training is incredibly beneficial for those who have goals of weight loss. The exercise selection includes many strength training exercises, as well as Pilates based exercises for strengthening and stretching. If weight loss is a goal for you, it is necessary to also be in calorie deficit.
