Knitting Tip: RIGHT SIDE (RS) vs WRONG SIDE (WS) - Which Side is Which? | How to Recognise Them

This quick tutorial explains what the 'right side' and 'wrong side' are in knitting terms, and shows you a few ways to help you remember - or recognise - which is which.

The right side is the front or face of your knitting project, whilst the wrong side is the back or hidden side of the knitting. In the case of a reversible project, where both sides will be seen, there will often still be 'right side' and 'wrong side' labels, just to make following the pattern easier.

Please note that I used the long tail cast on in this video. If you use something like a knitted cast on instead, you will find that the yarn tail will actually be at the bottom of the needle - rather than the top - after casting on. So basically you just need to keep a mental (or physical) note about where the yarn tail is on the needle after you cast on :)
