1946 Willys CJ2A Universal Jeep

This is a video tour of my Willys CJ2A. It has 82,000 original miles and wears many items that were optional equipment from Willys Overland Motors in Toledo, Ohio. I am pretty confident that I have narrowed the build date to around October 31, 1946. It is serial #69376. It still has it's original gauges, all of which are still functioning properly. The OD paint it currently wears is only the 2nd coat of paint is has ever had. The original Picket Gray body and Harvard Red wheel colors were painted over by a former owner who was a retired Marine. I am proud to be the caretaker of this piece of American engineering and a throwback to simpler times. I have owned it now for 15 years and I feel a responsibility to keep it roadworthy and share it with people. It still brings forth lots of smiles and many stories from the older generation who remember when.
