This is a video tribute to the late great Glen Campbell. He was the consummate singer and guitarist, from his early days playing with the Beach Boys and Wrecking Crew in Los Angeles, to his final days touring the nation and performing with his children. This is a remastered version of the original studio version of 'Galveston', one of the many great Jimmy Webb songs that Glen recorded. It has been extended to include one of his virtuoso guitar solos, from a live performance that Glen gave in Sioux Falls, South Dakota back in 2001. The song cuts seamlessly from the studio to the live solo and back into the studio version again. Glen was in top form that night, and was accompanied by a full symphony orchestra. Shine on Glen! Even though you are greatly missed, your light will endure forever through the legacy of music you left with us.
