In case you missed it (because there has NOT been enough hype about this book), Sunrise on the Reaping by Suzanne Collins is almost here (March 18th)!! The book will cover Haymitch's Hunger Games (the 50th annual Hunger Games AND second Quarter Quell). Suzanne Collins has clued us in that the theme of the book will be about how propaganda plays into the age-old question "Real or Not Real."

To prepare, I'm re-reading the original trilogy (something I haven't done in nearly a decade)!

In this recap, we'll take a look at Suzanne Collins' intricate character development techniques, Haymitch Abernathy and Katniss Everdeen's ability to read each other's mind(?), and Peeta Mellark's incredible kindness.
