Dedication - composed by Richard Burchard, featuring The Masters of Harmony

"Dedication" was composed by Richard Burchard for the University of Kentucky Men's Chorus in memory of Calvin and Betty Johnson, married 58 years. Calvin served in the US Navy during WWII and in the fierce battle of Leyte Gulf. The title was inspired by their lifelong dedication to each other and Calvin's service to his country. The text is a portion of a poem chosen by Mark Twain to mark his young daughter's grave.

The Masters of Harmony is a barbershop chorus from Santa Fe Springs, CA. They are 8-time International Barbershop Chorus champions. Both award winning choruses, The Westminster Chorus, and the Masters of Harmony, share the same director - Justin Miller.
