One of the new playstyles for the Ogryn coming in Patch 13 is the infamous Gunlugger, something that Ogryn lovers have been requesting for ages. This build is represented by the third branch, which goes down the right side of the skill tree and has a heavy focus on maximum firepower that includes such upgrades as....

The Blitz: Frag Bomb, an oversized grenade that detonates with incredible force, dealing enough damage to kill almost anything caught in its explosion -- but you can only carry one at a time. Use it wisely.

The Ability: Point-Blank Barrage, a temporary buff to rate of fire and reload speed which proves that sheer volume of fire is just as good as accuracy. Can be upgraded to also include a close-range damage and movement speed increase, the ability to rend through enemy armor with any gun, or incendiary rounds that set everything you shoot on fire (which is what I used here).

The Aura: Coward Culling, +20% damage to suppressed enemies for you and your teammates within coherency. An excellent DPS boost once the bullets start flying and the heretics are ducking for cover.

The Keystone: Burst Limiter Override, which gives you a chance for every bullet to become a Lucky Shot and not consume any ammo when fired. Can be further upgraded to turn Lucky Shots into guaranteed crits, reduce ability cooldown when triggered, and to improve the proc chance. Fantastic synergy with the Charmed Reload blessing for the Heavy Stubber, which I was also using.

Additionally, the Krourk Mk4 Cleaver received a very nice rework to its moveset and a buff to its damage and ability to punch through enemy armor. To my fellow Ogryns who had previously dismissed "the stabby knife" in favour of the Bull Butcher; you should absolutely check it out again once the patch drops.

The L1 and L2 stabs have increased in power and the L3 attack has been replaced by a sweep that chains perfectly into the even bigger H2 sweep, giving the weapon both single-target damage (with enough power to oneshot enemy Bruisers with a head-stab) and fantastic hordeclear. I was still getting a little used to the new combo when I recorded this playthrough but you can see me use it a few times. And, frankly, even mindless stabbing still gets the job done.

This versatility makes it an excellent melee weapon for Gunlugger builds so you can save your ammo for the biggest threats. For more Ogryn tips, keep an eye on this channel for the coming of the Ogrynomicon guide!
