The Cognizant team built a self-learning algorithm to solve real-time problems on inventory management. Similar to the algorithm that fuels Amazon’s Alexa device, the Cognizant inventory management algorithm identifies patterns it sees repeatedly and adjusts its processes and systems to provide more efficient results. This kind of machine learning can allow manufacturers to make smarter decisions when it comes to managing their inventories. The algorithm also has the ability to integrate with other platforms. The algorithm can enter new environments through these integrations to transfer information, visualize that information, and ultimately analyze the information when required. These integrations allow users to apply the machine learning capabilities of the algorithm to other platforms. This use case helps users make smarter decisions when it comes to their enterprise. By sending information back to the enterprise, it enables manufacturers to make more meaningful choices very easily.
