These are 6 rights which every tenant in India should know. If they don't keep these in mind, there is a high possibility that the landlord might rip you off.

5. If essentials like AC, geyser, or plumbing break down, it is the landlord’s duty to fix them. If they refuse, you have the right to withhold rent until repairs are made.
