CAF Ambassador Emmanuel Adebayor speaks in Morocco during the TotalEnergies Africa Cup of Nations Morocco 2025, praising the country’s infrastructure and organisation after visiting Rabat, Agadir, Tangier and Marrakech, and calling Morocco an example for the whole continent.

Adebayor reflects on his frustration with football organisation back home, the disappointment of Togo and Ghana missing the tournament, and the tactical evolution of African teams, highlighting Senegal’s blend of African strength with European tactics.

He also explains why winning teams can build success by conceding fewer goals, and praises the progress of African coaches leading African national teams.

Adebayor then passionately defends Mohamed Salah’s legacy at Liverpool, criticising Jamie Carragher for what he calls “incredible” disrespect towards Salah, specifically saying it happened “on air”.
