This Kickstarter campaign aims to address the ambiguity surrounding the performance and quality of materials in the FDM 3D printing industry. The project focuses on conducting thorough tests and sharing results with the community to understand how materials behave in real-world 3D printing scenarios, highlighting the inadequacy of current material specifications, which can lack consistency and accountability.

We plan to acquire professional equipment, starting with a tensile and compression testing machine, to conduct standardized tests on different materials and printed parts. We will then publish our findings in a series of 20 videos, providing valuable insights into filament strength, the impact of print settings, and material authenticity. By contributing to this Kickstarter, backers can support the establishment of a comprehensive 3D printing lab, driving the industry towards more rigorous engineering standards.
