I got a questions that deals with fear and a horse running and rearing when being ridden. The things that are causing this behavior is the same things that cause most misunderstanding between horse and rider.

In the video I mention the Boston Bombing and then get distracted - what I was going to say is when the bomb went off, lots of people froze, crouched, ducted down, got smaller, evaluated the threat and made a decision to Flight (Run) or Fight- most choose to run. Natural reaction, just like a horse has. If you want to your horse to ignore his instincts YOU better learn to ignore yours.
