In this Crunch The Compressor I am demonstrating the Waves API2500 vst plugin under some very extreme settings. I will be pushing this through some very high gain reduction settings. These are not typical in a mix but it does allow you to fully hear how the vst compressor plugin affects the sound.

The Waves API 2500 is one of the many API emulations available. I think they all sound great and this one is no exception! I definitely think this is a must have vst compressor.
