I was recently commissioned by a local restaurant to make 50 dinner plates. If you've ever thrown plates on a pottery wheel, you know that they can be pesky. And it doesn't stop on the wheel, firing plates and glazing plates and having them not crack and warp and all the things clay likes to do when it's in disc form. These are some tips and tricks I've learned that have helped me make somewhat successful plates. Along with that I do a brief dive on my youtube journey and life updates.
