WEAVING INSTRUCTIONS - PART 3 - RYA KNOTS

You will learn how to make Rya Knots to form the fringe at the bottom of your weaving. If you want to make the full woven wall hanging then watch Part 1 and all the following parts to complete the woven wall hanging.
Each part will go over another weaving technique. This way you can choose what type of weave you like and create your own fabulous wall hanging or use my weaving instructions to make the full woven hanging that I have created for you.

Supplies:
-frame loom and yarn for the warp threads if you haven't already got this far.
- cardboard for a base at the bottom of your warp threads
-shed stick and weaving shuttle
-yarn for the tabby weave. I have used white Bernat softee chunky Super Bulky #6.
- tapestry needle
-Afro hair pick for tapestry beater or other tapestry beater of your choice
- Yarns that I used for the Rya Knots: Bernat baby coordinates, Bernat soft chunky, Bernat Softee baby, Lion Brand Homespun, and some left over grey and white chunky wool. Use what you like. Any yarn in any thickness or style will work.
-I used a piece of cardboard cut to 13" and 1 cut to 10" to wrap my yarn around for the Rya Knots
-scissors
