Mongolian music “We Love Our Long Songs” by B. Unurjargal HD

Talented young performer B. Unurjargal, performed at a fund-raising concert titled “Wishing You A Long Life, My Mother”, in Ulaanbaatar in September 2014, to raise money to pay for the treatment of her mother who had been diagnosed with Leukaemia.

The title of her song, “We Love Our Long Songs” ( Long Songs are a particular kind of traditional Mongolian song) is accompanied by members of the orchestra playing traditional instruments. B. Unurjargal herself composed the music and the words were written by Ch. Shinebayar.

Currently B.Unurjargal is a Year 10 student at the College of Music and Dance in Ulaanbaatar, specialising in the instrument “Moriin Khuur” which is Mongolia’s national Instrument, the Horse Head Fiddle.
