On this episode of DionDee Drive, we accompany a friend of the channel to collect a Volvo bought at a GoBid auction in Springs for R44,000. The car already had starter issues, but we managed to get it running and drive a few kilometres… before it suddenly shut down on us.

With no choice but recovery, we fetched the KB300 and trailer, loaded the Volvo, and dropped it off at the workshop. The following day, we diagnosed the problems, repaired the starter, fitted a new battery, and fixed the alternator.

Good news — the Volvo is now driving properly without cutting out.
