My name is Keden from Cooper City, Florida. My legal situation was I got arrested on two charges, one of burglary and one of grand theft.
I worked for University Dodge, I was working in the back of it, doing my regular duties, and a truck got traded in. I knew the person who owned it before that, and I took the speaker that I had previously installed in it out. One thing led to another, they checked the cameras, it caused a whole issue, and I ended up getting arrested for it and charged with burglary and grand theft. As soon as they asked me about it, I told them the full truth about what had happened. I admitted to it, simple as that. Without even knowing that they had the camera footage until they told me after. But they drilled me, they tried to get me to admit to things that I had not done, crimes that had happened there. I felt pretty let down that I was being treated the way I was, as an employee there a year and a half. You know, I was a hard worker, I was really close with a lot of the managers there but yet one little slip up and I was treated like a bum on the street basically.
I found out about Adam through a mutual friend, my girlfriend’s father actually has used him in the past. Recommended him very highly, told me that there isn’t anyone else that I should go to except Adam. I came to Adam and he helped me out, from the get go to the end.
I was considering going to a lawyer or dealing with a public defender, but after speaking to Adam and going through this whole court process I thank God that I went to Adam. If I didn’t, I could have been looking at a lot worse scenario if I didn’t have his help from the beginning. I had never had a run in with the cops really, I didn’t really know how any of it worked. When I first sat down with Adam he started from the basis, how this works, how that works, how these charges go. He basically explained it all as simple as possible so I could understand it. The first court date, Adam told me one of my options was the PTI program that was not as serious as probation but a little more rigorous, but at the end of it they would dismiss my charges.
The result of my case was after a little bit of work, time, and a couple of court dates with Adam there, we managed to resolve it.. After putting in the deposition to get me into the PTI program, it worked just like he thought it would. The managers of my old job who didn't want to let me into the PTI program after him giving them the deposition and talking to them and whatnot, they worked with me and let me in so that I could work past this, do my duties, and put this behind me after my PTI program was up.
I would absolutely recommend Adam to anyone I know, anyone I knew really, anyone going through anything with law, I mean, he’s a really straightforward lawyer. I learned a lot about the court system and he educated me on how it all worked and he helped me go through it all.
