Hello, everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at the Putco 5 1/2" diameter High Power Luminex Custom LED Fog Light Upgrade Kit. Now this is a custom fit part. It is designed to fit the 2007 to 2013 GMC Sierra 2500 trucks and the 2007 to 2014 GMC Sierra 3500 trucks. And on a custom fit part like this, I do like to recommend for you to go to our website and use the fit guide.

Put in your year and model vehicle and it'll sure if this will work for application. Now this kit offers ready to mount fog lights to deliver a nice bright white light. They do use a 15 degree narrow spot beam which is created by the chrome-backed focus lenses. It is a high quality light output. Comes with six three watt LEDs.

You can see three LEDs per light. And they are quality LEDs. They have a 50,000 hour lifespan. They do offer built in safeguards. They have a thermal-controlled chip to help prevent LEDs from overheating.

They use over and under voltage protection, keeps the light operating at the correct voltage. And they are a durable waterproof construction. The light itself is a black anodized 6061 billet aluminum housing. It's very lightweight and rust proof. The brackets which we installed on the back and the mounting hardware is all stainless steel, helps resist corrosion.

And the LEDs themselves are fully potted to protect fragile components. Now I do have this one here hooked up to some 12 volt power so I'm gonna turn it on so you can see how bright it is. Turn on our 12 volt power and there's your bright three LEDs. I'll go ahead and turn off the overhead lights and there you can see what the lights off how bright those three LEDs are. I'm even gonna zoom out just so you can see from a distance how bright they are. You can see how it lights up the room. And we'll go ahead and turn back on our overhead lights, turn off the power. They are a simple custom installation into your vehicle's factory fog lamp housings. Each lamp right here will plug directly into the existing fog light connector. There's no additional wiring needed. And you can even use your existing fog lamp on and off switch. And these lights can be adjusted to swivel up or down to ensure proper positioning. They are made in the USA. Comes with everything here on the table. Comes with the lights themselves, the mounting brackets we've already installed, some washers and a nice set of instructions that'll describe how it all goes together. This is for a quantity of two fog lights. Total LEDs of six, three per light. And then they're three watts per LED so it'll get you a total wattage for both lights of 18 watts. Power draw is 1.5 amps. Now the diameter we mentioned is 5 1/2". So you can see if we go side to side, there's your 5 1/2" measurement. And the light output, the brightness is 2,400 lumens. The beam we mentioned is the narrow 15 degree spot beam. And the color temperature is 6,000 Kelvin.
