The BOEING 737 MAX

Описание к видео The BOEING 737 MAX

The Boeing 737 MAX is an improved version of the Boeing 737 NG.

The Boeing 737 MAX 8 became infamous for its fatal accidents (Lion Air Flight 610 and Ethiopian Airlines Flight 302) due to the MCAS system (which also was vulnerable to a single point of failure) and the 737 MAX 9 got bad press from the uncontrolled depressurization after a panel blew out.

The smallest version, the MAX 7 and the biggest version, the MAX 10 are both still uncertified.

However, the Boeing 737 MAX series are still an improvement to the earlier NG series, especially in fuel efficiency. This video tries to explain those differences.
