Fresh off the train to Richmond linked below, I flew Breeze and an E195 for the first time, returning to my hometown of New Orleans for my first plane spotting trip while testing out new video equipment. ATC streams weren't available from RIC, so you're getting nat sound.

Breeze and Avelo are the two new US airlines making waves, with Richmond being an up and coming hub on the East Coast. Thankfully, I was the only person in line for TSA a couple of hours before the flight. So that was...a breeze. The flight itself is much like any ULCC (ultra-low cost carrier), where despite being in the Nicer fare class of priority boarding and great legroom, I was still on the hook for snacks and drinks beyond water. Like I do, I came prepared with my Jujyfruits.

Boarding from gate A11, we departed 14 minutes early and made it to the Crescent City 25 minutes early. Inflight entertainment (IFE) is available through the BreezeOnboard WiFi service on the Embraers (FlyBreeze on the A220), where you're able to stream a selection of shows. There wasn't a lot to see out the window other than haze, but coming home to MSY—gate A1—we were greeted with jazz music in the main atrium, as only one Great American City can.
