Fallsview Indoor Waterpark in Niagara Falls, ON (January 2020)

Last trip before the lockdown continues, with fun in a wave pool and on the slides.

Tickets around CAD 50 per person (various websites, such as Costco, offer discount prices if you book in advance - we paid CAD 30 per person). Lockers are obligatory and you have to pay CAD 12 per locker (flat fee). Lockers are tiny, so it's best not to wear any large boots or coats - we had to take 2, and still carried in two large bags of things with us. There were signs for some even smaller lockers for CAD 8 a day, but (1) at that size, they are of no use whatsoever to man or beast (except maybe if you only want to leave a walled or small handbag); (2) they were not available when we visited.

There is an indoor passage way from the local Sheraton, many visitors must be staying there as we saw people coming in their swimming suits and bathrobes.

You have to be at least 42 inches tall to do most of the fun slides (48 inches to be let onto all facilities, but the difference is only the two most extreme slides). Remember to ask the front desk to measure and tag your children, as the tags are only checked on top of the slides (meaning you could queue for 90 minutes+ in season for the Toob Tower with, say, an excited 5 year old, only to be sent back to the front desk and then have to start all over again).

There are two rather highly priced food and drink outlets within the indoor park (think CAD 25 for a burger of the "all our staff sat on it" variety). You cannot leave and come back on the same ticket (so the food court accessible through an indoor passage way is of little use). We saw, however, many families with food they brought in and nobody seemed to stop them (despite the "no external food or drink" signs on the door).
