The Engineering Support X7 Magnet Mount System allows the user to position the Trimble X7 Scanner on overhead metal structures. The real use case in this video shows it operating above a working conveyor belt, where the vibrations of the conveyor through the frame would cause scanning errors.

Additional brackets are available for Wall Mount applications, allowing the scanner to be positioned upright or inverted.
