Today we're talking about a few different topics:

1.) Testimonials and Reviews! Potential customers place a huge value on the experiences of others. If you’re doing great work encourages your customers to give feedback via surveys or reviews. You can use these as testimonials on your website, or for advertising on social platforms.

2.) Improve your NAP consistency. NAP stands for Name Address and Phone number.
Run a google search with your name, in “quotes” then change something, e.g. add “Pty Ltd” to the end and found out if you’re listed under a variation of your name. Do the same with your phone number add spaces remove spaces, remember to use quotes around the text-string.
This will uncover websites that list your business but does so slightly differently.
Fix any errors so you have one version of N, A and P, on directory-type websites.
Getting these citations to be consistent can really help your map listings in the Search Engine Results Pages (SERPs)

3.) Using PPC to target local areas has been a thing for a long time, but my favourite tip when it comes to local targeting is to add suburbs as “Negative Keywords.”

Negative keywords are keywords our ad should 100% not appear for. This means if I don’t want to show my business to people in Fortitude Valley, then that negative keyword of Fortitude valley stops that from happening.

Now I’m not just targeting who I want, but cutting out potentially useless clicks.
