My last TS-820 repair videos got a lot more views than I expected it would. So I thought I should take some time and actually SHOW how I fixed this rig. Hope this helps somebody one day.

The DG-1 board that I show in the video (the sandwiched boards in the metal casing) is what controls the digital display. The top side plug goes directly into the digital frequency display. There are several potential problems area here, including solder joints and connector corrosion.

I’m by no means an expert in these rigs, but this is what worked for me, and got this TS-820 back on the air. 73
