Summary
Famine is a period of extreme scarcity.

For a believer, famine is a time of testing and questioning.

God often speaks to His people when famine is coming.

God is not bound by the realities that constrain men.

Faith never knows where it is being led, but it loves and trusts in the one who is leading it.

What God requires of us is absolute obedience.

God does not lower His standards to accommodate human logic.

God's people can continue to flourish even in times of famine.

Trust in the LORD at all times. He is your refuge.
(Psalm 62:5-8)

God will take you where you did not intend to go, in order to produce in you what you could not achieve on your own.
