USB Jack and iPod® Connectivity (if so equipped)

If your vehicle is equipped with a USB jack, plug a compatible storage device, such as an iPod®, into the jack to play audio files stored on the device. Once the device is plugged into the jack, press the AUXILIARY button to switch to the USB input mode. If there are devices plugged into both the AUXILIARY jack, and the USB jack, press the AUXILIARY button to toggle between the two devices.

To play an iPod®, plug the connector cable supplied with your iPod® into the jack, located in the center console. Then connect the other end to your iPod®. Now, depending on your system, press the AUXILIARY button or the iPod® button to switch to the iPod® mode. When plugged into the jack, only the control panel for your audio system can be used to navigate and operate all iPod® functions. The interface for iPod® operation shown on the vehicle center display is similar to the iPod® interface. If compatible, the battery of your iPod® will charge while connected to the vehicle.

Press the iPod® MENU button to move up one level in iPod® menus. Use the TUNE/SCROLL dial and the ENTER button to navigate through and make selections on iPod® menu screens.
