Kia Rio Purge Control Valve Replacement

This is a common problem with these engines. The trouble code is typically mass evap leak or something along those lines. It can be multiple things in the evap system. This is one of the more common of the problems in that system. Some other things it can be are your manifolds, lines, charcoal canister, or connections. A good way to test for leaks at the manifolds, lines, and connections is spraying throttle body cleaner on those areas. Don’t use the throttle body cleaner too heavy- just lightly while the engine is on and listen for the change in RPMs. This will identify your problem area.
