Solo Female Travel: Today I explore more of the 15th Arrondissement and discover an entrance to the delightful La Petite Ceinture, remnants of an old railway that encircles Paris. I also make Keto Berry Flaugnarde (a clafoutis without cherries) and brew a mint tisane.

KETO BERRY FLAUGNARDE

Ingredients:
2 cups blueberries and blackberries
1/4 cup and 1 tablespoon granulated monkfruit, separated
3 eggs
1⁄4 teaspoon Sea salt
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon almond extract
2 tablespoons melted butter 
1 cup almond flour 
2 tablespoons baking powder
1 teaspoon baking powder
1⁄2 cup milk
1⁄2 cup heavy cream
1/2 teaspoon lemon zest

Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2. Grease a 9-inch baking dish.
3. Add berries to the bottom of baking dish.
4. Mix melted butter and 1/4 cup monkfruit then add eggs one at time, whisking well after each egg.
5. Add the vanilla and almond extracts and lemon zest and mix well.
6. In a separate bowl, mix the almond flour, salt and baking powder.
7. Add the almond flour mixture to the liquid mixture and mix well.
8. Pour the batter over the berries in the baking dish.
9. Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden.
10. Sprinkle remaining monkfruit on top. Let cool 20 minutes before serving.
