How to tie a Slippery Single Musky Fly with Musky Fool

Описание к видео How to tie a Slippery Single Musky Fly with Musky Fool

Learn to tie the Slippery Single Fly with Nick Gellerstedt from Musky Fool Fly Fishing Co. This simple musky single is a twist on the classic bulkhead. It is also heavily inspired by the synthetic musky masterpieces tied by Matt Grajewski (AdaptiveFly). This fly combines the bounce of a buford and slipperyness of a roamer. Perfect for all day casting and precision accuracy. This fly is perfect for smaller rivers and when working tight weed pockets on lakes.

To get this fly just right you are looking for a three stack bulkhead veiled with just enough dubbing to cover the bucktail. The titan dub does two things for this fly. First the water that it absorbs helps it to fish 15 to 20% deeper than an all bucktail bulkhead. Second the added smoothness from the dubbing helps the fly slide through the water.

As always play around with materials and colors to find a version that works best on your fisheries.
