Silver Slipper @ Michigan Celtic Festival '24

Sheila Graziano, the founder and artistic director of the CommonWealth Dance Collective, performs a solo of The Silver Slipper at the Michigan Celtic Festival 2024.

The Silver Slipper is a hop jig choreographed by Jackie O'Riley and Rebecca McGowan to a tune of the same name. It was taught to Sheila by Annette Collins in 2024, and this was the debut of the piece for the CDC.

The CDC is a traditional percussive dance ensemble based in the Ann Arbor, Michigan area. It was founded in 2004 by Sheila Graziano, and this year its 21st year performing at the Michigan Celtic Festival, formerly known as the Saline Celtic Festival.
